Windsor
Your team not only did what they said they would do but went above and beyond to ensure that everything met our expectation and in many instances exceeded.
This project is a careful reworking of a classic inner-north Queenslander, shaped by a respect for heritage and a clear vision for how the home would be lived in today.
From the street, the original character remains intact — elevated form, timber detailing and a calm, confident presence that sits comfortably among established trees. Behind that familiar façade, the home opens up into generous, light-filled spaces designed for modern family life. Levels are resolved thoughtfully, creating a natural flow between living areas without losing the sense of separation that older homes do so well.
Internally, the palette is warm and restrained. Timber floors ground the space, while vertical VJ walls, detailed joinery and soft lighting give the interiors a quiet elegance. The kitchen sits at the heart of the home — solid, functional and welcoming — with stone surfaces and custom cabinetry that feel purposeful rather than precious. Adjacent living and dining spaces are generous without feeling oversized, offering room to gather, retreat or simply breathe.
Bathrooms and private spaces continue the same philosophy: classic forms, durable materials and details that will age well. Throughout the build, the focus has been on balance — honouring what was already there, while introducing new spaces that feel natural, resolved and built to last.
